23 new infections and 41 probable cases are added

The report of the Department of Health reported no deaths from COVID-19; meanwhile, 23 confirmed cases and 41 additional probable cases were registered.

The results of the 27 confirmed cases of COVID-19 correspond to 876 women and 891 men. The total number of confirmed cases was adjusted to 1,767, after adding 15 cases with sampling dates from April 1 to June 11. Confirmed cases are those with a positive PCR test.

On the other hand, an additional 41 probable cases were recorded. In this line, the total is 5,841, after being adjusted by subtracting six cases that had a positive molecular test, dated from April 1 to June 1; in addition, two duplicate cases were subtracted. Of the probable cases, 3,110 are women and 2,731 are men. Probable cases are those that test positive for a serological test.

Adjustments in totals are made as part of an effort by the Department of Health, entities, and clinical laboratories to ensure that all samples taken for COVID-19 are recorded. in the Bio Portal, regardless of the date it was taken.

The number of people hospitalized by COVID-19 is 97.

Without additional fatalities, the total number of confirmed deaths is 59 and the probable deaths there are 94, therefore, the total of deaths is 153. It is important to remember that any death recorded after the report is issued will be reflected in subsequent reports.
