During this afternoon, a tremor was felt in the southwestern part of Puerto Rico.
According to Seismic Network, the earthquake was registered at 2:06 pm and had a preliminary magnitude of 3.76 degrees. It originated six kilometers (3.7 miles) deep, the entity added.

The earthquake occurred in the region that has been seismically active since December 2019.
There is no surveillance or tsunami warning for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, indicated the Seismic Network.
