The Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) announced that this Thursday, October 22, brigades of the public corporation will carry out repair work in the municipality of Guayanilla.

“The tasks that our staff will carry out consist of the replacement of deteriorated hydrants located on Algarroba Street in the Santa Elena de Guayanilla Urbanization,” informed the regional deputy director of the AAA, Bruce León Ng.

In order to replace hydrants, it is necessary to close the drinking water distribution system. As a consequence, residents of the following Guayanilla communities could experience low pressure to interruption of service: Santa Elena 1, 2 and 3, Guaidía, Sitio, Santa María and San Augusto.

León Ng, reported that the works will begin at 6:00 in the morning and will last until the afternoon. Once service is restored, it is recommended to boil the water for three minutes before consuming it.
