As stated, “the repair work is carried out on the pipeline that supplies raw water to the Orocovis filter plant. This situation has caused residents of various communities in the municipalities of Orocovis and Coamo to experience low pressure or interruption of service ”.

The affected communities in Orocovsis are: Sabana, Las Marianas, Urb. Villa Orocovis, Bermejales, Buenna Vista El Cometa, Villa Cooperativa, Sabana Interior, PR 569, La Cuesta, Sect. Los Meléndez, Sect. Los Morales and Los Padilla. While in the municipality of Coamo: Pedro García, Bo. Hayales, Pulguillas, Progreso, Holla Fría, Farallones, Quebrada Grande, Las Llanadas, Los Verdes and Sabanetas.

If there are no problems, it is expected that the work will finish this afternoon and the service will gradually recover, first in the lower parts and then in the higher parts. It is recommended to boil the water for three minutes before consuming it.
