The Fajardo area director of the Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA), José Sepúlvera Sánchez, reported that tomorrow, Monday, personnel will perform replacement work on a regulating valve located in the 10-inch diameter pipeline that runs through the bridge. Hatillo de Fajardo.
As explained by the official, “taking care of the recurring breakdowns of the past weeks, we will replace an eight-inch diameter valve that regulates the pressure in the pipeline that runs through the Hatillo bridge near the urban area of Fajardo. This will allow stability and efficiency to the drinking water system and a reduction in breakdowns ”.
As a result, the sectors that could experience from low pressure to intermittent drinking water service are: Jerusalem, Santa Isidra 1, Veve Calzada and the urban area.
The tasks will be completed the same day and the system will be reset in the evening.
