AAA works fault repair and service recovery in Aguadilla, Moca and Aguada

Aguadilla – The director of the Aqueducts and Sewers Authority (AAA) in the Aguadilla area, engineer Nelson Saavedra Barreto reported that sectors in this municipality have interrupted water service due to breaks in the distribution line on PR 459.

The official indicated that the Campo Alegre, Poblado San Antonio, Aguacate, PR-110, Martinica and La Charca sectors in Aguadilla have service interruptions.

Brigades are working to repair the leaks and they are expected to be completed in the evening.

On the other hand, the water service to sectors of Moca and Aguada continues to recover, due to a leak that was repaired on Sunday on PR-111.

This affected the level of the 5 million tank and the distribution of the service. Among the sectors in recovery in Moca are Capá, Cruz, Voladora and Marías. Likewise, the upper parts of Aguada continue to be affected, such as Laguna and Naranjo.

If there are no problems, the recovery of water service to the affected places will be from hours of the night.

The AAA recommends boiling the water for three minutes, given the possibility of turbidity, when resuming the service.
