Aguada man is arrested for exchanging a car that had been left to repair

The Arrests and Raids Division in conjunction with the CIC Intelligence Unit, issued an arrest warrant against Edward Pérez Medina, 44, a resident of Aguada, which was issued by Judge Orlando Avilés Santiago, with a $ 100,000 bond.

This for violation of Law 8 Vehicle Protection, Fraud and Illegal Appropriation.

The events were committed for the dates of January 9 and 10, when the injured Yesenia Crespo, took her Toyota vehicle for repair and he made a business and exchanged his car for another car and asked for $ 500 more.

The deal was made with 60-year-old Benjamín Hidalgo Morales, a resident of Moca, without knowing that he was stolen from Yesenia, both of them feeling scammed by the accused.

The man did not pay the bail imposed and was admitted to the Bayamón Prison Institution.
