Aguadilla Prosecutor’s Office cited the case of the arrest of the protester in Condominio Sol and Playa de Rincón

CORNER – Personnel from the Rincón Police District arrested one of the protesters on Thursday for the crimes of Damages and Obstruction of Justice.

The detainee was identified as Gualdemar Alcobas Santiago, 40, a resident of Hatillo, who damaged the gate and used a shovel, and threw sand where they would make a cement shot, hindering the construction.

In the middle of the incident, the police stopped him and jumped into the sea so as not to be detained by the uniformed officer, being placed under arrest and transferred to the local barracks.

Agent Jaime Carrero investigated the incident, supervised by Sergeant Fabián Del Valle and in turn directed by Lieutenant Alvin Acevedo Correa, Commander of the Rincón District, consulted with the prosecutor Héctor Crespo, who ordered the case to be cited for next Thursday, 29 July 2021.
