VIEQUES – An incident of gender violence was reported at 12:50 am on Friday, in Vieques.
According to the police report, a woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting her partner with her hands on her face and with a hammer on her right arm.
The man was transported to the Vieques Diagnostic and Treatment Center, his condition is stable.
In the incident, the woman was injured in the face. She was transported to the Caribbean Medical Center Hospital in Fajardo in stable condition.
Both were summoned to appear at the prosecution.
