An old woman reported as missing appears in Vega Baja

The Office of Emergency Management of the Municipality of Vega Baja announced that fortunately this morning they were able to rescue María Teresa Soler del Valle, 78, who had been reported missing by her family.

“She is in stable health and they found her in a pasture on the community grounds where she lives. We thank all the personnel involved in this search that ended thanks to God ”, reads a note published on the official website of the Municipality of Vega Baja.

The woman disappeared last Sunday afternoon in the Sandín community. Immediately, Emergency Management officers worked in the search together with members of the Police and the United Forces of Rapid Action (FURA).
