Another earthquake is felt this morning in the southwest of Puerto Rico

Another earthquake was felt a few minutes ago in the southwest of the island, according to the Puerto Rico Seismic Network (PRSN).

The estimated magnitude was 3.9 and it occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers. Initially, the PRSN had indicated that it was a 3.71 magnitude.

The maximum intensity was 5 and it was in Lajas.

The epicenter was located at latitude 17.941, Longitude 67.043 and occurred at 9:29:59 today, Tuesday.

“There is no tsunami warning, warning or surveillance for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands,” indicates the PRSN.

The United States Geological Survey initially estimated the movement at a magnitude of 4.5.
