
The president of the College of Practical Nursing, Julio Irson, reported today, Friday, that the eleventh nurse dies from COVID-19.
According to Irson, the nurse Sara García who worked for the Auxilio Mutuo hospital was intubated for several days.
“Today an excellent professional lost the battle. I have worked for many years in the Interventional Nursing Department,” he said.
This death belongs to the figures of seven deaths reported today by the Department of Health. In addition, they reported 1,350 confirmed cases.
The figures add up to 49,226 confirmed cases; 1,452 probable cases, and 1,076 deaths from COVID-19.
