
The secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTOP), Carlos Contreras Aponte, announced today, Wednesday, that jobs and appointments were suspended at the CESCO in the town of Arecibo after a person tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.
“Suspended work and appointments at CESCO in Arecibo due to COVID-19,” said Contreras Aponte on his social networks.
He added that: “Citizens with appointments scheduled for this CESCO will receive calls to coordinate a new appointment at another CESCO.”
The Health Department report reported eight deaths from COVID-19; meanwhile, 359 confirmed cases and 238 additional probable cases were registered.
