Arrest warrant for domestic violence served

Juana Diaz – Today, agents assigned to the Ponce Division of Arrests and Raids, served an arrest warrant for domestic violence. The order was issued on January 24, 2021, by Judge Mari N. Aparicio Laspina, with an ascending bond of $ 1 million against Anthony Concepción Guzmán, 39 years old.

According to the police report, Anthony Concepción went to the Ponce Area Command, where agent Emanuel Ayala, under the supervision of Sergeant Damaris Meléndez from the Ponce Arrest and Search Division, made his arrest.

The defendant was presented by video conference, before Judge Mayra E. Peña Santiago, who ordered the defendant’s entry to the Bayamón Correctional Complex, as he was not providing bail.

This order was issued for events that occurred on January 23, 2021, in Juana Díaz. Allegedly, Concepción Guzmán committed psychological abuse and threatened to kill her consensual partner.
