ASES employees will work remotely due to preventive closure due to COVID-19


San Juan – The Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration (ASES), Jorge Galva, announced on Tuesday night the preventive closure of the agency’s Central Office, after an employee reported that he was in contact with a person who was diagnosed with COVID-19.

“As part of the COVID-19 prevention and security protocol, we are notifying that the employees of the ASES central office, located in San Juan, will be working remotely and the agency will not be open to the general public until next time, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 that we hope to complete the disinfection process of the offices. This after an employee will notify that he had contact with a COVID-19 patient. It is important to note that our office does not usually receive Vital Plan beneficiaries, ”Galva said in written statements.
