SAN JUAN – The Administration of Health Insurance of the Government of Puerto Rico (ASES) announced that this Monday it will launch a platform for virtual appointments, to make changes of insurer of the Vital Plan and thus guarantee greater access to services in the midst of the Covid Pandemic- 19.
The Executive Director of ASES, Jorge E. Galva Rodríguez, said in a written statement that “the beneficiaries and those interested in making the change of insurance company or receiving guidance from the Vital Plan will be able to make a virtual appointment from the comfort of their homes.”
“The platform will be available through the cybernetic portal Life Plan starting today, Monday, November 16, 2020 ″, stated Galva Rodríguez.
Users will be able to use the platform to request guidance or change insurance companies virtually, even outside working hours, and make telephone appointments in 30-minute intervals between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Monday. to Friday.
Beneficiaries must offer their names and surnames, select the type of service provided; and the specific day and time at your convenience to arrange a telephone interview.
In addition, they will have the option of changing the size of the letters from their devices, and choosing the language, ordering the fields of the type of service concerned and receiving reminders by text messages. ”, Explained Galva.
