PONCE – The authorities rescued a dog and two people on Thursday afternoon from a cliff on La Niña street of the second extension of the Punto Oro Urbanization, in Ponce.
According to the police report, a call was received to the Ponce Oeste Precinct, reporting a dog on a cliff. Upon reaching the place, they found a Labrador retriever and two people who tried to rescue the animal, but due to access problems, they ended up stranded.
Ponce municipal rescuers, Fernando Santiago and Joe García, along with firefighters Reynaldo Vega and Eduard Maldonado used a ladder to rescue the dog Bruno and citizens Eric Toledo and Rodolfo Rodríguez.
The dog was handed over to its owner.
