Barceloneta School of Fine Arts announces enrollment for free classes


The mayor of Barceloneta, Wanda Soler Rosario, announced that the School of Fine Arts of the municipality will offer free classes during this semester to residents and people who reside outside the municipality.

The registration process will last until January 25 of this year. The courses will be offered in a virtual and hybrid informed manner.

“We started a new school year in our School of Fine Arts which will be offered free of cost to residents and people from other municipalities. The courses are designed for students from the ages of four onwards to enter the world of the arts ”, informed Soler. “Our school has a variety of classes for children and adults which allow them to develop in different areas of the arts.”

Among the classes for children that the school will have available virtually are: piano, ballet, dance, violin, theater, plastic arts and choir. Also, courses of wind and brass instruments, four, guitar and mandolin will be offered. Among the courses designed for adults are vocal technique, fine arts, cuatro, guitar and mandolin; preparation of appetizers, sewing, makeup and salsa classes. Classes are offered at different times from Monday to Saturday.

“This is an excellent opportunity for children and adults from any part of Puerto Rico to enroll in our courses. We have a range of excellent professionals committed to the development of our students, ”said Soler. “It is always a good opportunity to acquire new knowledge and now they can do it for free from the community of their homes.”
