Black Lives Matter painted in Condado

The Ventana al Mar area on Ashford Avenue in Condado was painted this morning with large, yellow letters that read the phrase “Black Lives Matter.”

According to journalist David Begnaud, the initiative is that of the ragpicker. Bad Bunny who provided the artists with all the necessary materials to make the painting. Carmen Yulín Cruz, mayor of the capital city, gave permission for the painting to be carried out on the streets of her municipality.

The ceiling of the Hiram Bithorn Stadium will also be painted.

This joins the support of worldwide protests against racism.

They began in the United States, with the murder of George Floyd on May 25 at the hands of a police officer in the city of Minneapolis.
