Noelia García, secretary to the Government of Puerto Rico, confirmed this Monday morning that by the end of this week more vaccines against the Covid-19 coronavirus are expected to arrive on the island.

García indicated in an interview with Radio Isla that: “the lack of vaccines is not due to an absence of inventory. It is due to a delay in time. The acquisition of vaccines continues.”

The secretary refers to the heavy snowstorms that have been reported in the United States in recent weeks.

Health reported today, four deaths from coronavirus, while 150 confirmed cases, 40 probable and 489 additional suspected cases were registered, for a total of 679 positive cases.
