Caguas conducts virtual workshop on hurricane season


With the aim of guiding citizens, the Caguas municipal administration announced that tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:00 am, it will carry out the virtual workshop: “Prevention and preparation for the hurricane season in times of pandemic " that can be seen on Facebook Live and YouTube Live.

The workshop will feature the participation of Roberto Cortés as moderator; Ernesto Morales of the National Meteorological Service; the director of the Municipal Office of Emergency Management (OMME), Miguel Neris and the director of the municipality's Planning Office, Zaid Díaz.

“This hurricane season it is nuanced by the coronavirus pandemic. My municipal administration has always tried to keep citizens informed about emergency plans and prevention measures in the face of the hurricane season. This year is no exception and that is why we resorted to a virtual workshop to guide and comply with social distancing measures.
