The candidate for governor for the Puerto Rican Independence Party (PIP), Juan Dalmau Ramírez, will hold a virtual election campaign closing event.
“Given the reality that the country still continues to face the Covid-19 pandemic, it is important that those of us who aspire to lead Puerto Rico assume the corresponding responsibilities and set the example. That is why I have decided not to carry out mass activities, or rallies or caravans and replace it with a virtual closure that will begin to be broadcast on Facebook from 12:00 in the afternoon, “said Dalmau Ramírez.
For his part, the candidate for governor for the Popular Democratic Party (PPD), Carlos “Charlie” Delgado Altieri, participates from 11:00 am in a “rally” through San Juan, leaving the Peña de la Pava, at kilometer 20.3 of the PR-1 highway, in the direction of Río Piedras to Caguas.
The closing of Delgado Altieri’s campaign is from 5:00 in the afternoon, virtually, said the candidate for governor.
While the president of the New Progressive Party (PNP), Pedro Pierluisi, will do a “Drive-In” campaign closing activity at 3:00 in the afternoon, in the parking lot of the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium, in Bayamón . There will be a protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
While Alexandra Lúgaro, candidate for governor for the Citizen Victory Movement, will have her campaign close starting at 3:00 in the afternoon in the parking lot of the Hiram Bithorn Stadium, through the “Drive-In” mode.
“Anyone who wishes to enter the activity and report a fever will be taking the temperature, they will not be allowed to settle on the premises. We will have a group of ushers who will be conducting preventive rounds to make sure that spectators stay in their vehicles and wear masks, ”said Lúgaro.
For his part, the candidate for governor for the Dignity Project, Dr. César Vázquez Muñiz, will hold a “rally”, leaving at 3:00 in the afternoon from Plaza Escorial in Carolina.
On the other hand, the independent candidate for governor, Eliezer Molina, will be from 3:00 in the afternoon in front of the corner of Resistencia, at the intersection of Cruz and la Fortaleza streets, in Old San Juan.
