Carolina opens free Internet connection center


The Guillermo Angulo Sports Center in Carolina is transformed into a new study center with high-speed Internet connection that will be provided free of charge.

It will be for use by students from primary and secondary levels to university, announced the mayor of the city, José Carlos Aponte.

The service will be available Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., starting Tuesday, October 13, and will allow students to connect with their devices to the Microsoft TEAMS platform.

The sports facility, which is spacious and air-conditioned, will allow students to connect for schoolwork in a comfortable and safe environment.

Similarly, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, the Municipal Education Department will make a teacher available to students who will be clarifying doubts and offering educational support individually and free of charge, added the Carolina Chief Executive.

In turn, parents of elementary-level students who need more guidance on the use of computers and greater knowledge of the Microsoft TEAMS platform were invited to contact the Carlos Hernández Rodríguez Library to inform them and the staff The librarian at the Sports Center provides the necessary guidance and support.
