The head of the Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) of the northern area, Roberto Martínez assured on Thursday morning that the Carraízo reservoir registered an increase 8 centimeters.
" Today we have 36.66 which means 8 centimeters more than what it had. This removes for the moment the possibility that rationing is more aggressive," Martínez said in an interview with Radio Isla 1320am.
The rise of the said reservoir now places it with 36.66 meters. The reservoirs of Cidra, Patillas, Carite, Río Blanco and Fajardo also increased.
The rationing of subscribers who supplement from Lake Carraízo affects some 140 thousand families in Canóvanas, Carolina, Trujillo Alto and San Juan since last July 1.
