ATLANTA – The Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) recommended on Thursday fully vaccinated people to stop wearing masks.

“If you are fully vaccinated (two weeks after receiving the two doses of Pfizer, Moderna, or the Johnson and Johnson vaccine), you can resume your pre-pandemic activities. You can resume these activities without wearing a mask or having to keep a physical distance of 6 feet away, “said the CDC in a written communication.

“Except in those places required by the federal, state, local, tribal or territorial government, as well as in businesses or work centers that have specific rules and regulations,” he added.

The Secretary of Health, Dr. Carlos Mellado López has not yet expressed himself on this recommendation.
