Charges against woman for trying to cash PUA checks with false license

During this day, the Bank Robbery Division filed an accusation against Gladys Adriana Lopez Rodriguez, 41 years old.

The acts of which he is accused were committed on August 18, 2020, when he arrived at the Banco Popular of the Rexville branch in Bayamón, where he tried to cash three individual checks of the Pandemic Unemployment Assitance Program (PUA) for the amount of $ 3,396.00 with a fake license.

This case was investigated by Agent Katiria Rossini Padilla in conjunction with the prosecutor Yanelly Sanchez Courtney, of the Bayamón prosecutor’s office who instructed to file article 2.15 of the Criminal Code (Forgery of License) then Judge Ivette Rodriguez Rodriguez after hearing the evidence found cause, setting him a bond of $ 3,000 dollars, which was loaned.
