It was indicated in a press release that owners and operators of pleasure boats must follow the warnings of the National Meteorological Service and take the necessary measures to safeguard the safety of their vessels.
After the storm has moved away from the area, the Coast Guard port teams will assess the condition of the port facilities and waterways. Once completed, the captain of the San Juan port will reopen so that vessel traffic and operations at the port facilities return to normal.
