
The Coast Guard established the FOUR port status today, Sunday, to the seaports in the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, after the passage of Tropical Storm Laura.
During the FOUR port condition, the ports reopen to allow maritime traffic to commercial vessels. Sailors were advised to proceed with caution due to the possibility of finding debris, and were asked to report any irregularities to the Coast Guard.

The prevention officials of the San Juan sector of the Coast Guard worked all night and will continue to carry out evaluations in collaboration with the maritime industry to reopen these ports as soon as possible.
