The Health Department reported today in its report 406 patients hospitalized for covid-19, an increase of 19 compared to the figure reported yesterday.
According to agencyOf the 406 people hospitalized, 385 are adult patients and 21 are pediatric.
There are two pediatric intensive care patients and one on a ventilator. Likewise, 81 adult patients are in intensive care and 55 are on a ventilator.
Currently, 2,877 adult beds are available, as well as 212 intensive care beds and 958 ventilators. There are also 801 pediatric beds, 61 intensive care beds, and 112 pediatric ventilators.
On the other hand, Health reported in its report seven additional deaths from covid-19, as well as 2,388 new positive cases between confirmed and probable.
With this, the accumulated figure rises to 221,197 cases and 2,162 deaths, between confirmed and probable, since the pandemic began.
Data published in the Health portal show that 440,050 people have completed the vaccination process on the Island, which means that they have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or the one-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.
1,195,046 doses have been administered on the island, while 754,996 people have at least one dose.
Meanwhile, yesterday opened the vaccination process for all eligible adults.
