The Health Department reported today in its report 461 patients hospitalized for covid-19, an increase of 16 compared to the figure reported yesterday.
According to agencyOf the 461 hospitalized people, 418 are adult patients and 43 are pediatric.
There are four pediatric patients in intensive care and three on a ventilator. Likewise, 94 adult patients are in intensive care and 60 are on a ventilator.
Currently, 2,586 adult beds are available, as well as 201 intensive care beds and 859 ventilators. There are also 808 pediatric beds, 62 intensive care beds, and 108 pediatric ventilators.
On the other hand, Health reported in its report eight additional deaths from covid-19, as well as 721 new positive cases between confirmed and probable.
With this, the accumulated figure rises to 223,235 cases and 2,182 deaths, between confirmed and probable, since the pandemic began.
Data published in the Health portal show that 471,203 people have completed the vaccination process on the Island, which means that they have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or the one-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.
1,290,459 doses have been administered on the island, while 819,256 people have at least one dose.
