Court determines no cause against Jerome Garffer in case of gender violence

The Bayamón Court did not find cause for arrest against the former finance director of the New Progressive Party (PNP), Jerome Garffer, a case of gender violence for which he had been arrested last night by the municipal police of Guaynabo.

Judge Ada Rosa Juarde , of the Bayamón Judicial Center found no cause in the Rule 6 hearing.

Garffer spent the night in a cell at the municipality's headquarters after a case with his current partner who was not identified by the sources of Metro that confirmed the arrest.

The former director of the PNP finances has been previously pointed out by his ex-wife, the well-known lawyer Blanca Sáez, who at one point used the networks to denounce with images the attacks that he allegedly carried out. These publications were made after a judge refused to extend a protection order that she had for her now ex-partner.
