Covid-19 hospitalizations drop to 301 | government


Hospitalizations related to the coronavirus (Covid-19) on the Island decreased to 301, which represents a reduction of 11 compared to the figure reported yesterday.

According to the agency’s dashboard, of the 301 hospitalized people, there are 50 adult patients in intensive care and 35 with a ventilator.

At the moment, the Country has 2,884 beds for adults, 223 intensive care beds and 878 ventilators, as well as 892 pediatric beds, 65 intensive care beds and 127 pediatric ventilators.

The number of hospitalizations for Covid-19 has remained below 600 since mid-December.

Health reported today 138 confirmed cases, 153 suspected cases, 44 probable infections and 11 additional deaths.

With this, the accumulated figure rises to 159,115 cases and 1,794 deaths, between confirmed and probable, since the pandemic began.
