Covid-19 hospitalizations drop to 388 | government


Hospitalizations related to the coronavirus (Covid-19) on the Island decreased to 388, which represents a reduction of two compared to the figure reported yesterday.

According to the agency’s dashboard, of the 388 people hospitalized, there are 60 adult patients and one pediatric in intensive care and 73 with a ventilator.

At the moment, the Country has 3,039 beds for adults, 248 intensive care beds and 818 ventilators, as well as 953 pediatric beds, 70 intensive care beds and 129 pediatric ventilators.

The number of hospitalizations for Covid-19 has remained below 600 since mid-December.

Health reported today 191 confirmed cases, 148 suspected cases, 37 probable infections and 14 additional deaths.

With this, the accumulated figure rises to 144,781 cases and 1,659 deaths, between confirmed and probable, since the pandemic began.
