
The Department of Health reported on its ‘dashboard’ that 122 are currently hospitalized for the coronavirus on the Island, which represents an increase of seven hospitalizations compared to yesterday’s figure.
According to the agency’s website, 19 adults are in an Intensive Care Unit, of which seven are connected to an artificial respirator.
No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.
The country’s public health system has 2,838 adult beds available and others 3,645 occupied. As for intensive care unit beds, there are 261 available and 427 occupied. There are 849 artificial respirators available and 291 occupied.
The total of confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 on the Island increased to 8,714. The figure is divided into 2,147 confirmed by PCR and 6,567 identified by rapid (serological) testing.
