Covid-19 positive causes 9-1-1 call reception center closure | government

The secretary of the Department of Public Security, Pedro Janer, and the commissioner of the Emergency Systems Bureau of 9-1-1, Yazmín M. González Morales, reported that the offices of the Guaynabo call reception center were closed yesterday afternoon because an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

“The commissioner informed us that a A telecommunication team employee had a positive result after performing the molecular test that detects Covid-19. The emergency protocol was immediately activated to guarantee that all personnel undergo the corresponding tests and ensure their safety, "said the secretary.

Meanwhile, the commissioner explained that the pertinent steps were taken so that a company today start the disinfection process of the building and equipment. In addition, he noted that the approximately 90 employees who kept working in the building will undergo molecular tests.
