Governor Wanda Vázquez announced today that the curfew will remain in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the new executive order that will take effect as of next Saturday, August 21.
The governor, during a televised message, indicated that the order of a total closure will also remain on Sundays, except to go to your doctor, to a pharmacy or hospital. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold on Sundays.
These measures will be in effect for a period of 21 days, so they will be in effect until September 11.
The governor also stated that the regulation that from Monday to Saturday, the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited after 7:00 pm
