Death of a man reported in Ponce jail

Authorities reported on Wednesday morning the death of a man at the Command Center of the Maximum Correctional Institution in Ponce.

According to preliminary information, a man killed himself by hanging himself in one of the cell.

The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed by the authorities.

Agent Angel López, from the Homicide Division, together with the prosecutor on duty, go to investigate the events and agent Doel Santos, from Technical Services, to document the scene.
