Designated Police Commissioner brings together senior officials | government


The designated commissioner of the Police Bureau, Colonel Antonio López Figueroa met at noon today with the high officials, including the commanders of the 13 police areas of the country, and for the moment there will be no changes.

López Figueroa began the meeting, after having participated in another with the designated Secretary of Public Safety Alexis Torres, and the commissioners of five other agencies.

Before entering the meeting, López Figueroa, who will face the confirmation process before the Senate in the coming weeks, told EL VOCERO that at the moment there will be no changes in the high command.

It is expected that in the coming weeks the designations to Field Operations and Criminal Investigations will begin, and that processes will begin to turn FURA into an auxiliary office.
