The adjutant general of Puerto Rico, Major General, José J. Reyes, announced the opening of the vaccination center operations at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas.
“With the opening of this vaccination center in Caguas we will impact an even greater number of health professionals in the region. Similarly, this number will continue to increase with the opening of other centers. By mid-January we hope to have 11 operational centers around the island, ”said Adjutant General José J. Reyes.
Health professionals who come to be vaccinated will arrive at the Complejo Recreo-Deportivo del Este located on the PR 788 highway in Caguas. Registration will begin at 6:00 am with the delivery of tickets for parking and shift in order of arrival. The temperature of those present will be taken and the screening questions will be asked. At 8:00 am the vaccination begins at the Centro de Bellas Artes.
Health professionals from the municipalities of Caguas, Aguas Buenas, Gurabo, Juncos, Las Piedras, Naguabo, Humacao, Yabucoa, Maunabo, San Lorenzo, Cayey, Aibonito, and Cidra must attend this vaccination. The maximum capacity of the place is 320 – 350 people. Once the maximum amount is occupied, access to the place will be closed.
All health professionals must present identification and / or work credentials, employment certification (1 for each participant, the document will be attached to the form).
The vaccination will take place from Monday to Saturday. Only doctors and dentists will be seen on Saturdays.
Other next GNPR vaccination centers planned to open are in Ponce, Arecibo, Mayagüez, Humacao, Fajardo, Aguadilla, Bayamón, Barranquitas and Guayama.
As of today, December 29, over 4,400 health professionals had been vaccinated against Covid-19 at the Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum.
