Education announces another virtual training for teachers


The secretary of Department of Education Eligio Hernández Pérez, today announced another virtual training for teachers, in which educational alternatives due to the pandemic of coronavirus .

Hernández Pérez said that the workshop that the Virtual Educa organization will offer will be held from July 21 to 23 through the web platform virtualeduca.org/connect/inscription [19659004]for free. Staff from other countries will also participate.

“At a time when evaluated, discussed and re-evaluated the measures for returning to school this event allows us, in a broad and in-depth way, to have a responsible dialogue and an exchange of ideas for the best service to our students, "said the secretary in written statements.

It was indicated that the training will touch on topics such as the digital transformation in education and training, 21st century educators, models of knowledge management in higher education, technical training, life-long training, technological developments for inclusion, quality models and evaluation systems, innovation in education, distance education tools, among others.

Hernández Pérez mentioned that more than 1,600 teachers have registered to participate so far.
