An aggravated assault was reported at 5:30 pm on Thursday, in the Guzmán Abajo neighborhood in Río Grande, police reported.
According to the report, Samuel Ramos was having an argument with his 15-year-old stepson. The minor allegedly attacked him with scissors in the area of his face, which caused an open wound. As a result, his 10-year-old son hit his stepbrother with a metal tube in the area of his face.
Samuel Ramos, was treated at the UPR Hospital in Carolina, where the doctor on duty took six stitches. The 15-year-old minor was treated at the Rio Grande Diagnosis and Treatment Center, where he was diagnosed with a fracture in the septum area.
The case was referred to agent Daniel Marín of Juvenile Aid of the Fajardo Area Criminal Investigation Corps and consulted with the prosecutor Karla Pacheco, who instructed to summon the parties for October 27, 2020.
