SAN JUAN – A fatal crash was reported at around 12:10 in the morning on Thursday, at Highway 199 intersection with the Romaní Road, in Cupey, in San Juan, the Police revealed.
According to the investigation, while Bethzimarie Rosado Sánchez, 32, and a resident of the Caimito neighborhood, was driving a Suzuki Aerio vehicle, on the aforementioned road, she passed the red light of the traffic light, causing her to be hit by the driver of a Ford Explorer vehicle. , identified as Ana Gabriela Prieto Erazo, 22, and a resident of Cupey.
Rosado Sánchez died at the scene from the crash.
The agent Emmanuel Rosado assigned to the San Juan Highway and Patrol Division, together with the prosecutor Ernesto Acevedo, took charge of the investigation.
