SAN JUAN – A fire was reported around 6:13 in the morning on Tuesday, in the cafeteria of the K-Mart store, near the Plaza Las Américas shopping center, in Hato Rey, the police revealed.
The manager of the establishment, identified as Abimael Martínez, communicated through the 9-1-1 Emergency System to alert of the fire.
Firefighters arrived at the establishment and extinguished the fire, which apparently originated in the cafeteria.
No people injured or affected by the fire were reported.
