First report of 2021 includes 18 additional deaths from Covid-19 | government

The first report of the year 2021 from the Department of Health included 18 deaths from Covid-19. Meanwhile, 1,391 cases were registered, between confirmed and probable.

With these additional deaths, the deaths total 1,521. Salud has reported that the change in the number of deaths should not be interpreted as having occurred in the last 24 hours.

In addition, between probable and confirmed cases there are 133,270 positives since the pandemic began. Of these 73,007 tests correspond to women and 60,263 to men.

The Health report also informs that the region with the most positive cases with molecular and serological tests is Metro with 30% and 25%, respectively. Meanwhile, with the Bayamón antigen test with 20%.
