Forensic Sciences culminates autopsies of police officers who died after shooting in Carolina


The executive director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences (ICF), Dr. María Conte Miller, announced that the autopsies of the three police officers who died in the line of duty during a shooting that occurred yesterday in Carolina have already been completed.

“The Institute of Forensic Sciences completed the autopsies of policemen Luis Marrero, Eliezer Hernández and Luis Salamán who died yesterday in the line of duty. All autopsy protocols (reports) will be available tomorrow for the authorities investigating the case,” Conte said. Miller in written statements.

The three policemen who died yesterday were part of a shooting that took place in the Román Baldorioty de Castro expressway in the afternoon and left another officer injured who is in stable condition.
