The court granted Mildred Villegas Rivera to serve her sentence under probation

The former internal administrator of the Administration of Socioeconomic Development of the Family (ADSEF), Mildred Villegas Rivera, was sentenced to three years on probation.

The independent special prosecutors (FEI) Emilio E. Arill García and Manuel Núñez Corrada, reported in a statement that Villegas Rivera was sentenced on three charges: two for violations of article 251 of the Puerto Rico Penal Code (unjustified enrichment) and one for violation to article 4.2 of the Government Ethics Law.

A judge imposed a three-year sentence, on each charge, to be served concurrently with each other.

After the investigation and the report by the probation officers , the court granted him to comply with the sentence under the probation system.

The sentence was imposed by Judge Rafael Taboas, of the Court of First Instance of e San Juan.
