SAN JUAN – The president of the Transition Committee of Governor-elect Pedro Rafael Pierluisi Urrutia, Ramón Luis Rivera Cruz said on Friday that they invited the former director of the Government Ethics Office, Zulma Rosario to give a talk.
“The purpose of this talk is to proactively address any concerns of the members about different ethical aspects,” said Rivera Cruz in written statements.
He added that, “issues related to government ethics were addressed with Ms. Rosario, as this is the first time that there is a transition process between administrations of our party.”
In the same way, he indicated that the Incoming Committee has already received 100 percent of the reports from all government agencies and they will be published as they are presented in public hearings.
For next Monday, November 16 at 9:30 in the morning, the Department of the Treasury, the Office of Management and Budget and the Puerto Rico Fiscal Agency and Financial Advisory Authority (AAFAF) will appear.
On Tuesday, November 17, the Central Office for Recovery and Reconstruction (COR3) and the Department of Housing are summoned.
While the Department of Health will be on Wednesday, November 18, and on Thursday, November 19, the Department of Education and the Department of Public Safety are expected. The week will culminate on Friday, November 19 with the presentation of the Department of Labor. Starting Tuesday, public hearings will begin at 8:30 am and the itinerary will be published weekly.
