
AGUADILLA – Personnel from the FURA Maritime Unit in Aguadilla intervened at 12:50 in the morning of Monday with a person, apparently undocumented, who was in a 21-foot-long boat about two nautical miles from Aguadilla Bay.
The intervention took place in the middle of a preventive maritime patrol, where the FURA personnel on board the Cobra 64 ship, intercepted the aforementioned boat, in which only the now intervened, devoid of lights, in violation of the Navigation Law was traveling .
Sergeant Giovanny González, agents Marcos Estrella and Héctor Pérez handed over the victim and the boat to the Border Patrol, who are continuing with the investigation.
