The governor, Wanda Vázquez announced today that government employees will return to face-to-face work starting next Monday, September 14, as part of the guidelines in the new executive order on COVID-19 that relaxes several of the regulations so far established .
Vázquez said that he is instructing agency heads to instruct public employees to return to face-to-face work as of September 14. It was indicated that in agencies where COVID-19 cases arise, the protocol for its management will be activated.
Classes in the Department of Education will remain remote. It was not specified whether teachers should report to classrooms to offer classes from there.
On the other hand, he indicated that parades, caravans or similar activities that tend to agglomeration of people continue to be unauthorized.
