Government has received close to $ 37 thousand in fine payments for not wearing a mask

Data from the Department of the Treasury revealed that the amount of money collected in Collecting Offices around the island for payment of fines for lack of masks amounts to $ 36,900.

The amount of money corresponds to 240 fines paid until October 7 of this year.

Yesterday, the Puerto Rico Police Bureau reported that it had issued 1,495 fines to people who have violated the Executive Order in public, established on August 22.

In this, Governor Wanda Vázquez imposed that individuals would be penalized with $ 100 and businesses with $ 500.
